Professional Liability Insurance in accordance with § 51 BRAO

Limitations of insurance coverage:

The professional liability insurance does not cover claims arising from activities
a) conducted via law offices established or maintained in other countries,
b) related to legal advice and services concerning non-European law,
c) before courts outside of Europe.

Professional Titles and Regulatory Information:

The professional titles “Rechtsanwalt” (Attorney-at-law) and “Steuerberater” (Tax Advisor) were awarded in the Federal Republic of Germany.
All lawyers of the firm are admitted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and are members of the Munich Bar Association, Tal 33, 80331 Munich (info@rak-muenchen.de, www.rak-muenchen.de).

Alternative Dispute Resolution:

In case of disputes between lawyers and their clients, there is an option for out-of-court dispute resolution upon request:

  • via the Munich Bar Association (§ 73 (2) No. 3 in conjunction with § 73 (5) BRAO), or
  • via the Arbitration Board of the German Bar Association (§ 191f BRAO), which can be contacted via www.brak.de or by email: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de.
