Remuneration
Legal fees at JSE LEGAL are transparent and tailored to the specific needs of each mandate.
Depending on the type and complexity of the matter, fees may be calculated based on statutory regulations, hourly rates, or individual fee agreements.
Statutory Fees
In certain cases, legal fees are governed by the German Lawyers’ Remuneration Act (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz – RVG).
This typically applies to standard legal matters, where fees are calculated based on the value in dispute and statutory fee schedules.
Hourly Rates
For many business and international matters, fees are agreed on the basis of hourly rates.
This allows for flexible and transparent billing, especially in complex or cross-border cases where the scope of work cannot be determined in advance.
Individual Fee Agreements
Depending on the nature of the mandate, individual fee arrangements may be agreed with the client.
This may include fixed fees for clearly defined services, such as company formation or contract drafting.
Cost Transparency
Before commencing work, clients are informed about the expected costs and the applicable fee structure.
Upon request, we provide cost estimates or discuss suitable billing arrangements to ensure transparency and predictability.
International Clients
We regularly advise international clients and provide clear explanations of the German legal fee system.
All fee arrangements can be discussed in German, English, or Russian.
Billing
Invoices are issued in accordance with the agreed fee structure and include a detailed description of the services provided.
Legal Note
The applicable fee arrangement depends on the individual mandate and will be agreed upon prior to the provision of legal services.
