Honorarium and remuneration

Here you will find an initial overview of our hourly rates and remuneration. Of course, you can continue to contact us by phone or email regarding any incurred costs.

1. The initial contact is always free of charge and non-binding.

The initial contact with JSE LEGAL is free of charge and non-binding. You are free to contact us by phone, email, contact form, or any other way. We are available to assist you personally with any inquiries. If your inquiry does not fall within our areas of expertise, we will inform you immediately.

2. The initial consultation.

Most mandates begin with an initial consultation. This includes a brief clarification of the facts, an initial review and response to legal questions, as well as the development of an initial strategy for pursuing your goals.

For this initial consultation, we can usually provide you with a fixed price. This depends, among other factors, on the complexity of the facts, the scope of the available documents, and the legal questions to be clarified. The initial consultation can also preferably take place via phone or email.

3. Hourly rate, remuneration law, and flat fee

In principle, the following fee models are available for legal and tax advice.

Hourly rate: You have the option to agree on an hourly rate with us. Our hourly rate is € 250 + 19% VAT. The effort is recorded in increments of 15 minutes. Billing is done monthly and includes a detailed breakdown of all activities.

Fees according to the Lawyer’s Remuneration Act: For court-related activities, we are legally obliged to charge at least the fees according to the Lawyer’s Remuneration Act (RVG). These are based on the value of the dispute in your case.

Flat fee: For ongoing engagements or continuous work, we are willing to offer you a flat fee on a monthly basis. However, agreeing on a fixed price requires that the effort is determinable in advance.
